Our History — Rooted in Houston
Homegrown Expertise, Nationwide Results
Search Services was founded in 2000 by Heather and Tony Gray — both alumni of PricewaterhouseCoopers — who combined their backgrounds in recruiting and entrepreneurship to launch a new kind of search firm: one that would offer deep subject matter expertise, long-term relationships and an unwavering commitment to quality.
They were soon joined by business partner David Young, a technology consultant from Ernst & Young, who helped launch the IT division.
Shortly after, administrative staffing expert Denise Madrid came aboard to lead what would become Search Support.
Together, these four partners built the foundation of a company that now includes 20+ talent strategists across four specialized divisions — all backed by a shared mission: to elevate people and the organizations they power.
